Between 27-29 June 2016 at the Regional Department of Defense Resources Management Studies was held the first edition of the Summer School of the Ministry of National Defence.

This event, on his first edition, represent an initiative that confirms the concern of the Ministry of National Defence to promote excellence in the military and civilian educational system.

At this activity participated special guests from the Ministry of National Defence, the Chief of General Staff, General Nicolae Ciucă, Secretary of State from the Armament Department, Mr. Gabriel Benjamin Leş and State Secretary for Relations with Parliament, Mrs Otilia Sava, alongside with personalities from military academia and civilian journalists, bloggers, athletes, officers who participated in courses and international missions.

For the Summer School of the Ministry of Defence have signed up 60 students, 50 from the system of military education and 5 each from the National Academy of Intelligence and Transilvania University of Brasov.
